Nancy Peirce Pavilion

The  Peirce Pavilion is located behind Buttermaker’s cottage. The 3,500 sqft Pavilion can be rented from 8 am to 10 pm. The Peirce Pavilion has men’s/women’s dressing rooms with restrooms, and public restrooms. There is a dirt service road to the back of the stage and a 4′ by 8′ trapdoor. The pavilion has general overhead lighting that illuminates the stage and audience areas, but no theater lighting.  Wifi can be arranged from Buttermaker’s cottage that reaches most of the area around the  Peirce Pavilion. The Pavilion has been used for concerts, plays, weddings, receptions, baby and bridal showers, birthday parties, and celebrations of life. Rental options include by the hour up to 6 hrs or full day.

The Peirce Pavilion is named in honor of Nancy Peirce who served on the Western Gateway Recreation & Park District’s Board of Directors from 2014 – 2024. In the spring of 2025, there will be an official dedication and celebration, including the installation of a plaque, honoring a decade of service on the board of directors and many years of devotion and commitment to Western Gateway Park.

Rates – The Peirce Pavilion rents by the day, half day, and by the hour. It is also available in combination with other park venues for weddings, fundraisers, concerts, or other large events.  Please call the Park Office for pricing.
